How to Get a Flat Rug
Washing & Care
- Machine Washable – Wash separately in cold water on a delicate cycle using a small amount of mild, unscented detergent.
- Spot Clean – Blot spills immediately with a damp cloth. Use a clear, unscented soap if needed.
- Routine Care – Use a vacuum for everyday cleaning. Gently brush the surface to restore the pile if needed.
- Notes – Follow the recommended washer capacity for your rug size. Slight shrinkage (up to 1%) is normal. For heavily soiled rugs, professional dry cleaning is recommended.

The Chapel Hill rug is a loom knotted cotton flatweave and has a unique mottled appearance that showcases beautifully the subtle pastel palette of lavender, pink and peach heart motifs and gives excellent durability.
